CARLOS JULIO PACCO HUILLCA: A CEO who leads from the mountain, not from a desk.
Carlos Julio is a Tourism graduate with trekking boots and more than a decade of real, on-the-ground experience. Before founding Bestreks, he hiked thousands of kilometers on iconic routes like the Inca Trail and Salkantay, collaborating with the country’s most recognized agencies.
During those years, Carlos didn’t just guide; he observed. He experienced firsthand the operational flaws, logistical errors, and unmet needs that travelers suffered. He understood that tourism in Cusco needed to evolve.
Bestreks was born from that direct experience: to correct what others overlooked.
Carlos’s mission is clear: to raise the standard of tourism service in Cusco. Today, that vision is the pillar of our agency.
